    Wonderful owners very accommodating. Made us feel super welcome and part of the community. Lovely historical building, new chef, well priced beer and pub grub.

    The food was excellent. When they learnt it was my birthday they gave us both a chuppa chup and after the meal brought me an ice cream with a candle in it. So thoughtful.

    Friendly staff, good food and a nice country pub atmosphere. Beautiful building and cheap rooms make this place a good stop off if passing though or just a quiet drink
